Happy holidays to all our wonderful patients and staff! We are super excited to have officially begun our holiday festivities this year.
We started this year by having a lovely staff party at a local restaurant on December 9, where we exchanged gifts with our secret gift pals. It was wonderful to be able to sit and chat with each other and connect!
Some of our favorite things about this time of year are being with family and friends, attending and performing in holiday concerts, enjoying the winter solstice, giving back to the community with our food drive, the much-needed time off, and of course, reflecting on the past year and looking for ways to improve in the New Year.
Many of our staff will spend the holidays celebrating with family. We always look forward to the New Year’s Eve parties, the long-weekend trips, and the endless game nights that we get to compete in.
While our nights may be filled with excitement, our days are just as full of all the different traditions our staff holds dear. Some of these traditions include the Feast of the Seven Fishes, lighting Chanukah candles each night of Chanukah, Christmas Eve at Grandma's, quiet morning with kids on Christmas Day, and a movie on Christmas afternoon!
Dr. Azadpur is very much involved in the community during this time as well. We are currently running our annual food drive to benefit the Simsbury Food Closet. In addition to food donations, the Food Closet needs toiletries, cleaning products, and so much more, so please consider dropping off something at the office. Dr. Azadpur also recently participated in the CT Mission of Mercy. CTMOM is a 2-day event providing free dental care to people who need it. It is a wonderful way to contribute to the overall health of our communities.
And finally, we will finish up the annual festivities on December 25th, by not only enjoying the last night of Chanukah and Christmas Day with our families but also celebrating Shari who has a birthday on that day. She loves to spend the day going to the movies with her family and watching the Facebook wishes roll in! Make sure to wish her happy birthday next time you see her.
As a quick reminder, we will be closed from 12/23 – 12/26 and we will be closing early on 12/30. If you need to schedule an appointment before the end of the year, make sure you do so as soon as possible. And if your insurance is changing, please let us know prior to coming in, if possible!
We would like to take this time to wish everyone a lovely holiday season and we look forward to seeing you in 2023!
